Staind at Ocean’s

Staind was better than ever! I chose great seats for myself., perfect view of stage, (although there’s really not a bad seat in the house), and they were instantly on fire. I was thrilled and surprised to hear more of the harder rock playlist variety from each album. Aaron’s voice did not disappoint! Strong as ever. Sang for an hour and a half straight. Kind of wished it lasted longer because I didn’t want it to end! I absolutely loved every minute of the show. I brought my now adult son who used to hear me listen to Staind when he was younger and he would say, “Mom put the shut up song on!” He normally listens to a different genre of music but I believe was moved by what he heard. Parking was easy peasy, convenient and hassle free, so appreciated that as we were running late getting there after working all day. So obviously downside was getting to Venue with only 20 min to spare, made it difficult to eat or stand in long lines for a drink or shop for a shirt. At the end, the lines were still very long and only one guy selling shirts with no help and unfortunately I opted against the line as I assumed by the time I got to the purchase, they would be out of the one I wanted in the size I needed. Super Bummed because that bloody chick was bad@..! Lol. Also, big waste of time. Ticketmaster prompts you to log in and put your tickets in your wallet which doesn’t work at the door so you still have to log into your account to open the app, then open the tickets so the lady at the door could scan them and of course you’re all excited thinking you’re prepared with no problems and you get a big fat wrong, “Nope your not ready step aside.” Thankfully I made a mental note to memorize the password just in case of problem or road block or it would have been a tragic nightmare. All in all I would definitely see Staind there again or any other band I’m into.

Drama

Concert was supposed to start at 8… I get being dramatic and being a few minutes late… but I didn’t spent 200+ dollars on each ticket to sit there waiting. I paid to hear music. And hour late is disrespectful to everyone spending money that we don’t really have to spend these days. I have seen Aaron Lewis a total of 6 times now. This being the saddest. He seemed very disengaged. Did not have the feel of his usual concerts. I will see him again but not as Staind. The venue was decent. Very uncomfortable seating right on top of each other
